Samsung unveils All-in-One Desktop with a built-in Soundbar
CES is now a a few days behind us and as the dust settles we are starting to sort out through the hundreds of emails, press releases and reviews which came to us during CES 2017.
This year’s CES was one of the best we attended and there was no shortage in awesome tech coming out in the next couple of months. One of the highlights and common trends this year is All-in-One desktops; Microsoft recently showcased their latest Surface Desktop which looks incredible. Dell took the wraps off their latest all-in-one (AIO) at CES17 which comes with a whopping 10 speakers system built in.
Samsung kept the trend going and took the wraps off their latest AIO which comes with a built-in soundbar. It’s clear that Samsung is not competing in the thinest desktop race, instead they are focusing on cross integration across their Galaxy Range. Much like iMacs which now allows integration with other iOS devices – the latest addition from Samsung will allow users to switch between their phones and desktops and make use of the integrated soundbar to listen to music from their phones and tables.
The 24-inch Full HD touchscreen desktop will come with an Intel Core i5-7400T clocked at 2.4GHz. The option to have it equipped with 8GB or 16GB of RAM will be accompanied by a massive 1TB hard drive. According to Samsung the desktop will allow future upgrades as demand for more power rises. The soundbar will have 2x10W speakers integrated to create some sweet sound.
There is no word on pricing or release date. Some rumours even suggest that Samsung have no plans on releasing this AIO into the market and it’s more of a concept for future products.
